![]() 'MAD Dog Of The Year' is our primary club award. It acknowledges a DOG who has achieved something very special during the year and is marked with a keepsake trophy. Outright success in the ring, winning trophies and rosettes, is the ultimate goal for all show-goers, nonetheless winning at shows reaps its own tangible rewards and mementos. MAD is a club with a strong sense of community, training a wider ability range of partnerships than just outright winners. Sometimes we know that a partnership has defeated the odds and achieved their own personal "trophy" just by getting as far as standing on the start line at a show. It is these less high-profile but equally auspicious, hard-won and valuable triumphs that the MAD Dog Of The Year award seeks to recognise. To say as a club "We've seen what you've achieved and we're proud of you". All Core members have one vote across the club and the only rule is that they can't vote for themselves. The award is presented retrospectively, for the previous year. MAD Dog of the Year 2010 is Rolo with Janette Weatherley |

Ziggy would have loved to have competed but circumstances prevented it; nontheless his legacy was to plant the seed of agility activity amongst the family. This trophy is awarded for 'Competition Achievement in the face of adversity, recovery against all odds and true 'stickabilty' from either DOG OR HANDLER or BOTH This is not an annual award but it is awarded at the Annual Presentation, passed from the previous holder to the next when an individual emerges during the course of the year and the occasion demands support and recognition for all that they have achieved.
